Lost Inside Loha Prasat

Loha Prasat is a unique structure, the only one like it in Thailand. Supposedly, it has a thousand rooms, though I noticed mostly just interconnected hallways, spread over several floors. The key is to use the centrally located spiral staircase to get to the roof. There you can get a terrific view of Bangkok, and a place to worship is located at the highest point of this structure.
If you get lost or disoriented inside this building, head for the central staircase -it makes a great reference point!
Apparently there are three “Loha Prasada”(brazen palace) in existence -one is in India, another in Sri Lanka, and this one.
This Loha Prasada is part of the larger Wat Ratchanatdaram temple complex, which was obviously undergoing extensive remodeling when this video was made.
